I've stayed here many times over the last approximately 10 years . They look after very well. You should know that the group has been taken over and the hotel is called MAXONE from 1st April.

Staff at the reception very unprepared….

Staff at the reception very unprepared…. Same massages repeated different time in two days only…. It seems nobody write down any note of any sort of request and you have continuosly ask for the same every day…. I have been asked for a parcel, they kept saying not arrived… and then I discovered it was deliverd on the 15th morning … Nobody at the reception new about it. very frustrating….

The room was clean, the sheet was tidy, the towel smells...

The room was clean, the sheet was tidy, the towel smells great, the check in was smooth, but there still need good maintenance for the appliances and the room ac.

We got a room in the southwest flank with the good view of the city, but the room was hot enough when daylight. We set the Air Conditioner at 16 deg, still the room temperature wont budge from 24 deg. Depressed enough. So we call the engineering to fix this... after half an hour, the engineering came and we got the explanation since the AC was central type, we cant expect much to cooling the room for the rest of the day.

Very clean olace, unique libby with good cafe/restaurant. Perfect staff. Good bed. All in all great value.

First day wifi was off several hours. Rooms are not soundproof to the corridoors.

What was the highlight of Neo Hotel Melawai by ASTON

You get what you pay for in terms of the facilities, but overall the value is much better than most.

The location is prime, right in the center of Blok M Plaza, Square, Space, and right next to the MRT Blok M BCA station as well as the bus terminal. The TV in the room is also equipped with different streaming services, though I wanted to watch TV (HBO etc.) but the TV guide did not match what was available (only local TV/news channels). There is also parking space available but very tight so in some cases you would need the staff to park/move around your car for you.

I got a non-smoking room, and I'm not sure if the smoking rooms have open windows/balconies, but my room was one of the "inner" ones so my window view was just a concrete wall. The bathroom was decent but the door to the shower did not properly close/seal so water would leak out. The Wifi connection is also pretty strong but in some cases it would disconnect for a few seconds. Lastly my room was on the 3rd floor and being a hotel right in the corner of a busy intersection + MRT station the noise can be a bit bothersome, but not to the point where you can't sleep.

Comfortable and modern stay in an excellent location

The bedroom was really cosy & clean. I appreciated the minimal decor and design too. Staff were lovely and it was so easy to feel at home here despite being right next to the MRT line; in fact that was a good thing as it allowed me to explore much more of the city than I would have otherwise. Very useful area for shopping, food and bars too

I had problems with the air-con with the temperature changing by itself (ghost?)

Very Good

Superb location. Very near to nice places, especially Jakarta's Little Tokyo and MRT Station. It's easy to get around. Breakfast and room is also okay.

The room is a bit smelly (smoke smell) although it's written as non smoking.

Positive stay for a few days in Blok M

Good location in Blok M, hence fairly handy to reach everywhere in Jakarta. Very friendly staff. Comfortable bed.

Not cheap considering the small room size. Amenities are very basic, breakfast served next door is okay but nothing special.

The staffs are friendly and helpful. The room is clean. They provide refill station. Great way to reduce plastic bottle waste.

check in process was bad, but the stay was nice

best location! only 5 minutes walking to the nearest mall and MRT station. nice breakfast and restaurant. room was also nice, loved the ambient.

I was pretty sure that i got around 562k to stay (including breakfast). But once the payment was made, i got the notification that i got it for 612k. then when i checked in, i was told that i could not get a double room when i clearly requested one. and after we entered the room (the twin room) the AC did not work properly. after waited for one hour, they told us that we had to change our room since the AC was broken. luckily we didn't bring lots of luggage. and thank god we got a double bed room for the exchange. a bad start had a happy ending. oh and the receptionist, they should be nicer to the customer especially when they couldn't give us the requested room :(

It used to be my favorite hotel around Blok M. I stayed at Neo almost every month for the last 3 years. But now I hate it. The last 3 times I stayed here were so uncomfortable. They gave me a room that happened to have loud noise and disturbing vibe from -i don't know, maybe big freezer or aircon machine or something else. This happened to me 3 times already. The first time, I complained about it because the disturbing sound and vibe made me unable to sleep the whole night, and they said it's because of the Papaya's freezer. That makes sense because the room is attached with Papaya building. So I complained no more and let myself suffer in the room. A month later I stayed in here again, in different room different floor, not attached to Papaya. The disturbing noise and vibe happened again and I swear I could't sleep at all. The staff said it comes from the construction site near the hotel. That can't be true because I didn't feel the disturbing sound and vibe in the corridor, lobby, nor outside the hotel. But I was too tired to confront that useless staff. The third time, I expected they already fixed the problem, so I booked Neo again. Guess what? Nope. The room was still annoying, still had vibration and gave me headache. I asked to change the room, they gave me another one in upper floor, and same case! I asked them to do something to stop the vibe and noise. But they just asked me to wait 30 minutes. When it didn't stop after 30 minutes, I called them again and they asked me to wait another 30 minutes. Maybe they thought I'm stupid so I could just give up and enjoy the noise. I don't know if they've really ever checked it or just ignored my complaint. This is just so disappointing. It's clear that the problem is from the hotel itself. Not from Papaya nor the MRT construction. And it doesn't matter whichever bedroom I stayed, the disturbing noise and vibration were always there.

The cleanliness.

The cleanliness. Easy access to anywhere.

There is no iron provided. I have to send to the staff for ironing and it cost me around RM21 just for 4 shirts. This is very unusual for a any category of hotel/boutique hotel to not having iron for the convenience of their patrons. Especially those who travel on work purposes. Thank you. No harm of providing iron as this is a very simple facilities to provide.
